The CheckPoint designs are specific controls for designated applications in the commercial or industrial application environments. These CheckPoint models are intended to connect and operate through a Building Management System (BMS). BMS have several different names for similar products. So when We Say BMS it means Building Automation, Building Management, and Direct Digital Controls. CheckPoint water sensing solutions use a unique technology that has imbedded software to provide for the logic needed for these applications. Reading each description will start to explain the functionality of each device as it is intended to be used.
The technology uses a State dependent frequency monitor as a detection method. This is a low amplitude signal generated on multiple sensor probes of differing lengths. Each probe has a frequency separate from all other probes in the array and independently changes state when touched by water. The state change of the frequency on each probe is monitored by a microprocessor, which can perform multiple water level control functions.
