Ultrasonic sensing uses high frequency wave pulses to detect water level. This sensor is mounted at the top of a tank aimed downward. It transmits waves and measures time to reflect from the water back to the sensor. The measured time is used to output a water level in terms of a precise voltage from 0-10 volts. This sensor can be used to measure depth of any medium liquid or solid.
